LIC AAO RECRUITMENT 2023:

LIC AAO notification 2023 is out on 15th January 2023. Online applications are invited for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist) - 31st Batch. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the same by visiting the official website of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) from the 15th of January 2023 to the 31st of January 2023.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR LIC AAO 2023:

Age Limit 

As of January 1, 2023, the minimum age must be 21 years old (completed). Candidates must have been born between January 2, 1993, and January 1, 2002, both dates inclusive, to be eligible, and the maximum age is 30.

Relaxation in age is also permissible to some special categories i.e. Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/Other Backward Community(OBC)/ Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECO) /Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCO) /Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) /Confirmed LIC employees/ shall be as under :

Educational Qualification 

Candidates must have a “Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution”.

LIC AAO APPLICATION PROCESS 2023:

1. Visit the official website of the LIC.

2. On the homepage, click on the career tab and you will get a link to “Recruitment of AAO(Generalist)-2023”.

3. Afterwards, a new screen will appear where you will get an apply link which will be redirected you to the new page.

4. Now, click on New registration, if you already have registered yourself then you can skip this step. (For registration:- fill out your credentials and scan your photograph, signature, thumb impression and handwritten declaration ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications)

5. After the successful registration, your login credentials will be sent to your registered email id. Login with those details and submit the application form with the required documents and details.

6. To complete the application procedure, pay the required application fee and take a screenshot of the final submission.

SELECTION PROCESS:

A three-tiered selection method will be used to choose the assistant administrative officers, followed by a pre-recruitment medical examination.

LIC AAO Main Examination 2023 

A descriptive exam for 25 marks and an objective exam for 300 marks will make up the main examination. The descriptive and objective exams will both be given online. Every segment of the objective test will have its own timing. Candidates will be required to type their responses to computer-based descriptive exams. The descriptive test will be administered immediately following the completion of the objective test. The pattern for the same is as follows:-

Only marks from the Main Examination will be taken into account for interview shortlisting.

Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination

Shortlisted candidates in the final merit list will have to undergo Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination and if found medically fit, will be offered an appointment.  

LIC AAO SYLLABUS 2023:

Logical reasoning: linear seating, arranging syllogisms, miscellaneous, arranging circular seating, number series, Venn diagrams, input-output inequalities, encoding and decoding.

General Knowledge: Indian Constitution, UNO, Country/Currency, Books and their Authors, Finance, Banking Terminology, Awards and Honors Sports, Marketing, Banking History, Agriculture, Indian Economy, International Economy, Fiscal Monetary Policy, etc.

Computer Knowledge: Microsoft Office, Operating Systems, Internet, Computer Fundamentals, Networking, Network Security, Input and Output Devices, Computer Software Computers, Memory, Computer Architecture, Database Management Systems (DBMS), Microsoft Windows.

Quantitative skills: data adequacy, data interpretation, number series, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, simplification and approximation, average, percentage, time and work, time and speed, menstrual geometry and pie charts, arithmetic skills.

Basic English Language: Comprehension: Topic Detection, Drawing Conclusions, Paragraph Completion, Error Detection and Paragraph Correction, Sentence Correction, Vocabulary: Synonyms, Antonyms, Word Formation and Sentence Correction. Spelling: Grammar, Phrases and Idioms
