The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Development Assistant/ Development Assistant (Hindi). Between 15 September 2022 to 10 October 2022, candidates may submit their applications ONLY ONLINE at nabard.org, the NABARD website.

Visit www.nabard.org to access Nabard's official website.
Choose the "Apply online" option under “Development Assistant/Development Assistant (Hindi) 2022 Posts”.
Now, the "Click here for New Registration" tab should be selected.
Type in your name, email address, and phone number.
On the screen, an automatic password generator and provisional registration number will appear.
The same will be delivered to the registered email address and mobile number.
Candidates must upload scanned copies of their identification documents, including a photo and signature, before filling out the application.
The information given during registration is final and cannot be modified after it has been submitted.
All academic information, including diplomas and certificates from classes 10, 12, and graduation, must be entered by candidates.
Choose your preferred exam centre for the Nabard Grade B Main and Preliminary exams.
When finished, click the "Preview" button to see the form with all the fields filled in.
If there is a mistake, edit and fix it.
Click the "Final Submit" button once all the information is correct.
Application Fee / Intimation Charges (Non-Refundable)
The applicable fee (excluding any applicable GST) must be paid online as described below and is not refundable. The candidate will be responsible for paying any bank transaction fees associated with online application fees and notification fee payments.

Note:
All NABARD employees who meet the educational qualification requirements are eligible to apply. They will be required to pay the above-mentioned fee/intimation charges at the time of online application, which will be reimbursed upon submission of fee receipt only to NABARD employees (staff candidates) who meet the eligibility criteria for the post.
Only Master/Visa/Rupay Debit or Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, and Mobile Wallets may be used to make payments, along with the providing information.
Age limit
A candidate must be between 21 and 35 years old i.e. candidates shouldn't be born earlier than 02 September 1987 and not later than 01 September 2001 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Relaxation in Upper age
Upper age limit will be relaxed as under:

Educational Qualification
(A) Development Assistant
A Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% overall (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates) or an equivalent degree from an authorised university or institution that was created by an act of the central or state legislature of India, or from any other educational institution that was created by an act of parliament or that was designated as being equivalent to a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
(B) Development Assistant (Hindi)
A bachelor's degree in English or Hindi from a recognized university with English and Hindi as a required or elective subject and a minimum of 50% overall (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS candidates) OR a bachelor's degree with English and Hindi as the primary subjects and a minimum of 50% overall (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS candidates).
The candidate must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice-versa.
Note: I) All academic credentials must have been obtained from universities or other institutions that were formed by a law passed by the central or state legislatures of India, or from institutions that were recognised as universities under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.
ii) Some universities and institutions award aggregate grade points (such as CGPA, OGPA, CPI, etc.) rather than classes or percentages of marks. The same will be acceptable if the university or institute establishes standards for converting the aggregate grade point into a class and/or a percentage of marks.
The undefined parameter(s) would be calculated as follows, however, in cases where the university/institute does not provide criteria for conversion of aggregate grade point into class and/or percentage of marks:

Candidates applying for the post in a particular State should be proficient in the official language of the State (i.e. should be able to read, write, speak and understand the language).

Preliminary Exam
For Development Assistant Post:
The Development Assistant Preliminary Exam 2022 is going to be conducted online.
There will be 100 questions and each question will be of 1 mark.
Total time duration is 1 hour i.e. 60 minutes.
Questions will be asked from three subjects i.e. English language, Numerical ability and Reasoning.

C) Language Proficiency Test
The Language Proficiency Test will not be required of candidates who meet the selection criteria and have completed the 10th or 12th grades with the declared language as one of their subjects; however, they must provide valid documentation (i.e., a mark sheet from classes X or XII with the specified language as Subject). After the announcement of the results of the Main examination at the Regional Office of the concerned State, the language proficiency test will be held for any further candidates (qualified for selection). The official language of the relevant State will be used to administer the language test. Candidates who are not found to be skilled in the official language will be disqualified, which means they won't be given an appointment.
The initial basic pay for selected candidates will be Rs. 14,650 (plus two advance increments) per month on the scale of Rs. 13150 - 750. (3) -15400 -900(4) -19000 -1200(6) -26200 -1300(2) -28800-1480(3) -33240 -1750(1) - 34990 (20 years) and other benefits, such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance, etc., as they become available. Currently, the starting gross monthly salary for a development assistant or development assistant (Hindi) is Rs. 32,000.
