The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority has released a notification for the Assistant Manager. PFRDA invites applications from Indian citizens for filling up the posts of Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) for the General, Finance and Accounts, Information Technology, Research (Economics), Legal and Official Language (Rajbhasha) Streams.
Those who are interested in filling out the online application for these posts can apply online from 15-09-2022 to 07-10-2022 by visiting the official website of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority.
Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA/ Authority), is a statutory regulatory body in the financial sector established under the PFRDA Act (23 of 2013) passed by the Parliament of India with the mandate to promote, develop and regulate the Pension Sector in India.

As of right now, you can access the link for the "Recruitment Notification entitled "PFRDA Recruitment Exercise - Recruitment of Officer Grade “A’ (Assistant Manager) - 2022"
When you click the aforementioned link, a new screen with the option to "Apply Online" will appear.
Click the "Click here for new registration" tab to register an application, then enter your name, phone number, and email address.
The system will generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password, which will then be shown on the screen. The candidate should write down their password and provisional registration number. The Provisional Registration number and Password will also be given by email and text message.
Now, complete all the necessary information, including the applicant's name, father's name, educational background, and residential address etc.
Candidates can continue to upload their photo, signature, left thumbprint, and handwriting declaration in accordance with the guidelines.
Before clicking the "Complete Registration" button, select the Preview tab to preview and check the full application form.
When you are absolutely sure your uploaded photo, signature, and other details are accurate and have been modified as necessary, click "Complete Registration."
To make a payment, select the "Payment" tab and click submit.
Now download your application form after the final submission for future reference.

A three-stage method will be used to select candidates:
Phase I (an online screening test with two papers worth 100 marks each),
Phase II (an online examination with two papers worth 100 marks each), and
Phase III (Interview).
a. PHASE I ON-LINE EXAMINATION:
An online screening examination consisting of two papers (Multiple Choice questions of 100 marks each) will be held on a date to be announced on the PFRDA website shortly. The exam will consist of:

For Papers 1 and 2 in Phase I, there will be a negative marking (1/4 of the final marks awarded to the question).
In order to be selected for Phase II, candidates had to meet separate cutoffs for each paper as well as the overall Phase I cutoff marks.
The Authority shall choose the minimum combined cut-off marks for Phase II shortlisting based on the number of openings.
Phase I marks will only be used to shortlist candidates for Phase II; they will not be taken into account when choosing the candidates.
The date and time for Phase II will be notified to qualified candidates through email and/or call letters. A list of these candidates will also be made accessible on the PFRDA website.
b. PHASE II ON-LINE EXAMINATION:
An online screening examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each. The exam will consist of:

A new call letter will be given to candidates who have been selected for Phase II.
Paper II will be administered in different shifts for candidates who have applied to more than one stream; the call letter will specify the times.
For Paper 2 in Phase II, there will be a negative marking (1/4 of the total marks given to the question).
To be selected for Phase III, candidates would need to achieve different cut-offs in each paper as well as the Phase II overall cut-off scores.
The Authority will choose the minimal overall cut-off score for Phase III shortlisting based on the number of openings.
Paper 1 will only be considered for candidates who earn the required minimum marks in Paper 2.
The date and time for Phase II will be notified to qualified candidates through e-mail and/or call letters. A list of these candidates will also be made accessible on the PFRDA website.
c. PHASE III INTERVIEW:
Only those who have been shortlisted will be called for an interview. Candidates who are not selected for the Phase II online examination and the Phase III interview will not receive a refund of their application and notification fees. The interview format for the candidate has two options: Hindi or English.
Note: A weighting of 85% will be given to the marks earned in Phase II online examination, and 15% will be given to the scores earned in the Phase III interview. PFRDA retains the right to alter the selection procedure whenever it is deemed fit.

Paper 1 of Phase- II :- English Writing Skills
The paper on English shall be framed in a manner to assess the writing skills including expression and understanding of the topic including precis writing/ essay writing/ comprehension.
Probation:Successful candidates for the position of Officer Grade 'A' (Assistant Manager) must serve a one-year probation period. They will be confirmed in the PFRDA's services if they perform satisfactorily during their probation period and the concerned authorities verify their character and antecedents.
The pay scale of Officers in Grade ‘A’ is Rs. 44500-2500(4)-54500-2850(7)-74450-EB-2850(4)- 85850-3300(1)-89150 (17 years).
In addition to salary and benefits, a candidate appointed as Officer Grade 'A' would be eligible for the below-mentioned qualification allowance:
