RBI ASSISTANT 2022 EXAM SHIFT -2 ANALYSIS

RBI ASSISTANT-2022:

The Reserve Bank of India successfully conducted the RBI Assistant 2022 Prelims Shift 2 on March 26, 2022, for eligible Indian citizens to fill 950 vacancies in the RBI Assistant post. Candidates who will be shortlisted in the RBI Assistant 2022 Preliminary Exam will be invited to take the RBI Assistant Mains 2022 Exam and the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Here, we have shared the RBI Assistant Prelims 2022 Exam Shift 2 Analysis: Difficulty Level, Good Attempts, Section-wise Questions Asked in English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability in this article.

Before we begin the analysis, it is important to understand the pattern of the RBI Assistant Prelims examination.

RBI Assistant Prelims Exam has the following 3 sections in the objective test comprising 100 questions to be solved in 60 minutes (i.e. 1 hour):

  • English Language

  • Numerical Ability

  • Reasoning Ability

As per the inputs provided by the candidates after the Second Shift of Exam, the overall level of the RBI Assistant Prelims Exam 2022 Shift 2 was Easy. The detailed section-wise analysis & good attempts are given below.

Highlights of the RBI Assistant Prelims Exam 2022 Shift 2 Examination;

  • The level of the overall examination was easy.

  • On average candidates managed to attempt around 85 to 90 questions in the examination.

  • Candidates of the 2nd shift found the Reasoning section at an easy to moderate level.

  • The sequence of the sections in the exam was English → Numerical (Quant) → Reasoning.

  • In any shift of the examination, no new pattern questions were introduced.

  • Candidates who had prepared thoroughly found the exam to be simple to complete before the allotted time.

Level of each section in detail

English Language (Easy)

The level of the English Language section was Easy. There were 2 sets of Reading Comprehension having 7 to 8 questions and 5 questions of Sentence Rearrangement. An average good attempt of questions in this section was 27 to 30 questions. 

Numerical Ability (Easy)

The level of Ability was Easy. A majority of the questions asked in this section were of 15 Simplifications and there were two sets of Data Interpretation based Tabular form (5 questions) and Caselet (3 questions). An average good attempt of questions in this section was 28 to 30 questions. 

Reasoning Ability (Easy to Moderate)

The level of the Reasoning Ability section was Easy to Moderate. An average good attempt of questions in this section was 31 to 33 questions. There were a total of 3 sets of Puzzles in the 2nd shift of RBI Assistant Prelims which are given below:-

  • Order Based - Product Purchase (8 persons) - 5 questions

  • Days and Months - 5 questions

  • Flat and Floor - 5 questions

Other important topics from which the questions were asked are - Mix Series (5 questions), Chinese Coding (5 questions), Direction and distance (3 questions) and Blood Relation (3 questions).
