The official notification for the recruitment of Security Guards in RBI has not been released yet. It will be published on the official website. Below is the tentative schedule for RBI security guard recruitment in 2022:

VACANCY:

The number of vacancies for each category of RBI security guard recruitment in 2022 is given below:

This recruitment drawn by Reserve Bank of India includes 7 from Ahmedabad, 12 from Bangalore, 8 from Bhubaneswar, 10 from Bhopal, 2 from Chandigarh, 22 from Chennai, 17 from New Delhi, Eleven in Guwahati and three in Jammu and Hyderabad. 4. 10 from Jaipur, 5 from Kanpur, 84 from Mumbai, 12 from Nagpur, 11 from Patna, and 3 from Trivandrum. In RBI Recruitment 2022, a total of 421 security staff recruitments were cancelled.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligible criteria of RBI security guard are given below-

Nationality

Applicants must be Indian citizens and also should be a resident of the state/UT of the recruiting area he/she is applying for.

Age 

Minimum age: 25 

Maximum age: 45

The relaxation of age is applicable to reserved categories as per the government rules. The following table shows respective age relaxation for the reserved categories-

Qualifications: Work Experience: 

Aspirants must be ex-serviceman with military background and also capable of handling arms and ammunition in the military.

Educational Qualifications

The educational qualifications of RBI Security Guard candidates are as follows:

(1) Candidates must pass Level 10/SSC/Matriculation from a recognised state board or equivalent.

(2) Candidates with postgraduate or any other degree or higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.

Application Fee 

Those applying for recruitment will have to pay an application fee of ₹ 50 through online payment method which will be non-refundable. 

Admit Card

The admit card will be released on the official website in 10-15 days before the exam. Candidates will be able to download from the official site. 

EXAM PATTERN:

The written test will be in online mode and consists of three papers: General English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Apart from the written tests, a physical test is also conducted in the selection process. The shortlisted candidates of written test are required to appear in this test.

Expected cut-offs for the year 2022

Cut offs for the RBI Security Exam are determined by category - General, SC, ST, OBC or Economically Weaker section. Estimated cut-offs for 2022 are as follows:

SALARY:

The basic pay for an RBI Security Guard is ₹10940/- per month. For the first 4 years 10940- 380, Next 3 years12460- 440, Next 3 years 13780-520, Next 2 years 15340-690, Next 4 years16720- 860,  Next 3 years 20160 – 1180, Till Retirement 23700 (20 years).
