RECRUITMENT WILL BE DONE SOON FOR THE POSTS OF VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT OFFICER IN UTTAR PRADESH

UPSSSC VDO 2022:

The recruitment process for 2142 vacant posts of Village Development Officer will start soon by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, about 3,000 cluster managers and other employees will also be appointed under the State Rural Livelihood Mission with the help of government outsourcing. This recruitment process can be done within the coming 100 days.

On behalf of the Rural Development Department, a requisition for these recruitments has been prepared and sent to the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), as well as under the scheme to fill the vacant posts in government departments, the Rural Development Department has started the development of rural areas along with focusing on filling the posts related to employment generation in the rural areas.

At present, there are a total of 8,286 posts of Village Development Officer in Uttar Pradesh. Out of which 6,108 posts are employed by officers, and 2,182 posts are lying vacant. According to the information, out of the vacant posts, 2,142 posts are to be recruited by the Rural Development Department. Regarding this, information will be issued on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission http://upsssc.gov.in/.

By making these appointments by the department, those women in rural areas who are associated with self-help groups will accelerate the process of connecting them with employment. Along with this, the government also plans to recruit 58,000 Banking Correspondent Sakhi (BC Sakhi).
