RRB ISSUED RE-MEDICAL NOTICE FOR MEDICAL UNFIT CANDIDATES IN NTPC-2019

RRB NTPC 2019:

The Railway Recruitment Board on November 09, 2022, issued a notice regarding Re-Medical (On appeal) for medical unfit candidates of NTPC-2019, Category-1 and Category-2 on their official website. Candidates who were shortlisted for documents verification for the post of “Commercial Apprentice and Station Master” appeared for documents verification in the office of the Chairman, Railway Recruitment Board, Chandigarh from 17-10-2022 to 21-10-2022 and 27-10-2022 (Block Date), followed by a medical examination at the Railway Hospital, Ambala Cantt. & Delhi.

However, according to the medical report received from the Railway Hospital, the three-member medical committee determined that three candidates for Commercial Apprentice and thirty candidates for Station Master were not fit in the prescribed medical category. The details of such candidates can be found in the following notices:

• Notice for candidates of Commercial Apprentice (Cat.1) post who are unfit in required medical standard. 

• Notice for candidates of Station Master (Cat.2) post who are unfit in required medical standard.

As per the railways' instructions, the candidates declared unfit may submit an appeal against the decision of the medical committee, he/she should submit his/her appeal to the Principal Chief Medical Director of the concerned Railway within the period of one month, from the date of issue of this letter, i.e. December 09, 2022, with due justification. The appeal so addressed to the Principal Chief Medical Director, Northern Railway, Baroda House, New Delhishould reach the following address by Speed Post or be delivered by hand on any working day: To The Chairman, Railway Recruitment Board, Railway Colony, Station Road, Chandigarh-160102.

Candidates are required to send the appeal along with the following three documents:

• Appeal with justification duly signed by the candidate indicating his/her Roll No., Registration No. and date of document verification.

• Medical certificate issued by Government/Private Specialist as per the format enclosed in the notice. 

• A Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) in favour of: “FA & CAO, Northern Railway, New Delhi”
