RRC CR APPRENTICE RECRUITMENT 2023:

The Railway Recruitment Cell has released an official notification regarding the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961, over Central Railway. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 2422 slots in the designated trades at Workshops/Units in the jurisdiction of Central Railway. Interested and eligible candidates can apply from the 15th of December 2022 (11.00 HRS) to the 15th of January 2023 (17:00 HRS).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR RRC CR APPRENTICE 2023:

Age Limit 

The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 15-12-2022. Relaxation in age is also permissible for some special categories. The details for the same are as follows:-

Educational Qualification 

The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training. 

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR RRC CR APPRENTICE 2023:

1. Visit the official website of the RRC by clicking here.

2. On the homepage, you will get a link to “Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for the Year 2022-23”.

3. Click on “Click here to apply online!!”. After clicking on the link, a new screen will appear read the instructions carefully and click on “I hereby declare that I have read all the instructions and understood it.”, then click on Apply Online tab.

4. Now, Candidates need to register themselves by furnishing the details requested in the Registration Form.

5. On successful registration, the Registration ID and Password will be shared with the candidate on the registered email.

6. Now, candidates have to fill out the application form completely without errors as no correction shall be allowed after successful payment/submission of the online application form.

7. After filling out the form, upload your documents in the needed format and then pay the registration fee. 

8. Applicants must keep a copy of the computer-generated acknowledgement slip after successful payment/submission of the online application form and keep it safely for future reference.

Application Fee

Payment can be made with a debit card, a credit card, Internet Banking, or an SBI Challan by entering the information requested on the screen. Candidates will be responsible for any online payment transaction fees.

RRC CR APPRENTICE - MODE OF SELECTION:

Selection will be on the basis of a merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of a simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI. For the final appointment, the shortlisting process will be followed by document verification and a medical examination.
