Visit the SSC's official website @ssc.nic.in.
Continue to log in. New users can register by clicking on "New User? Register Now."
Candidates must first login after successfully registering.
Go to the "Careers" tab and select the e-recruitment link.
Personal information such as your name, password, registration number, and so on will be requested.
Candidates must upload the appropriate documents and signatures in accordance with the format. (PDF, JPEG, etc.) in the format specified.
Check all of the information and then click "Submit." To complete the application process, submit the required application fee.
It is recommended that candidates print hard copies of the same.

Candidates can pay fee through various online payment modes:
BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
The candidate must be an Indian citizen. Vacancies in CAPFs and AR are state/UT/area specific, so candidates must submit their domicile/ PRC for their state/ UT.
The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as on the stipulated date will not be eligible and need not apply.
18-23 years as on 01-01-2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005.
However, after a three-year (03) age relaxation, the candidate should not have been born before January 2, 1997.
Due to the unprecedented 'Covid Pandemic,' the government has decided to grant three (03) years of age relaxation beyond the respective prescribed upper age limit for all categories of candidates as a one-time measure for this recruitment.
Permissible relaxations in the upper age limit for different categories are:

The physical standards of SSC GD Constables as per the SSC GD notification are as follows:
PST is an important stage in the selection process of SSC GD Constables. This stage is qualifying in nature and candidates have to clear it to appear in the Detailed Medical Exam.

The four stages in the selection process of SSC GD Constables are explained below:
Stage I – Written Examination (Computer Based Test) [Objective type paper carrying 160 marks
Stage II – Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Stage III – Medical Test
Stage IV - Document Verification
The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each, with the following composition:

Note:
All of the questions will be of the Objective Multiple Choice type. The computer-based exam will only be given in English and Hindi.
For each incorrect answer, 0.50 marks will be deducted. Candidates are advised to keep this in mind as they answer the questions.
Important:
Candidates scoring the following cut-off marks (without adding bonus marks to NCC certificate holders) will be considered eligible for short-listing to the next stage i.e. PET/ PST:
UR: 30%
OBC/EWS: 25%
All other categories: 20%
NCC Certificate holders will be granted following incentive marks provisionally which will be added to the normalized scores of the candidates:
NCC ‘C’ Certificate: 5% of total marks
NCC ‘B’ Certificate: 3% of total marks
NCC ‘A’ Certificate: 2% of total marks
