SSC HAS RELEASED THE NOTIFICATION FOR THE DELHI POLICE HEAD CONSTABLE POSITION

SSC DP HC RECRUITMENT 2022:

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a call for applications for the position of Head Constable (Ministerial) in the Delhi Police. The recruitment drive aims to fill 835 vacancies, 559 of which are for male candidates and 276 for female candidates. Eligible candidates can apply for the positions through the official website of the commission, i.e. Staff Selection Commission until June 16, 2022. 

The deadline for making online fee payments is June 17 and candidates will be able to make changes to their application form from June 21 to June 25, 2022. The Computer Based Examination is set to take place in the month of September 2022. The Computer Based Examination will only be given in English and Hindi language.

Eligibility for this post is as follows:

Age limit: The candidate should be between 18 to 25 years as of January 1, 2022. The upper age limit has been reduced by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates. The notice contains additional information.

Educational Requirements: 10 + 2 (Senior Secondary) pass or equivalent from a recognised Board at the time of application.

Professional Attainments: English and Hindi typing speeds should be 30 and 25 words per minute, respectively.

Application Fees and Process:

Candidates from the unreserved category must pay a fee of Rs 100. Women candidates and candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen (ESM) groups who are eligible for reservation are exempt from paying the application fee.

  • Go to the official website at https://ssc.nic.in/ 

  • Register yourself with your personal information

  • Log in using your 'Registration Number' and password to the online system.

  • In the 'Head Constable (Ministerial) in Delhi Police Examination-2022' section, click the 'Apply' button.

  • Fill out the form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the fee.

  • Submit the form and print a copy for future reference.
