SSC SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT RESULT 2022 OUT:

The Staff Selection Commission has declared the final result of Scientific Assistant in Indian Meteorological Department Examination, 2022 on 17th February 2023. The commission has conducted the Scientific Assistant in Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Examination, 2022 from 14.12.2022 to 16.12.2022. The Commission has declared the final result on the basis of a written examination for the available vacancies before the conduct of Document Verification. The IMD will conduct Document Verification of the shortlisted candidates. 

As the Computer Based Examination was held in multiple shifts, the candidates' marks were normalised using the formula published by the Commission. Such normalised scores were used to determine final merit and cut-off marks. The following are the category-specific details of the 995 candidates who have been provisionally shortlisted for the position of Scientific Assistant in the Indian Meteorological Department: -

Note: If a candidate scores more than the cut-off marks in the final result of the Examination but is not shortlisted for any reason, he or she must appeal to the Commission's concerned Regional/SubRegional Office within two months of the final result's announcement.

Following the announcement of the final examination results, the IMD will proceed with document verification and appointment formalities for the shortlisted candidates. If a candidate does not receive correspondence from the IMD within one year of the announcement of the final result, he or she must contact the Department immediately. Furthermore, the Commission will refrain from entertaining any correspondence from the shortlisted candidates regarding Document Verification/Appointment Formalities.

The representations received from candidates regarding the Tentative Answer Keys have been thoroughly reviewed, and the Answer Keys have been modified where necessary. The Final Answer Keys were used to process the CBE results. Final Answer Keys will be available on the Commission's website from March 7 to March 21, 2023.

The marks of the shortlisted and not-shortlisted candidates will be posted on the Commission's website on March 7, 2023. This service will be available from 07.03.2023 to 21.03.2023. Candidates can view their results by logging in with their registered ID and password.
