The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for Central Armed Police Forces - Assistant Commandants (ACs) or CAPF Exam 2022 on 20th April 2022. The CAPF notification is available for download on the official website (Click Here) and candidates can apply on UPSC Online till 10th May 2022.
The CAPF recruitment is carried out to fill vacancies in various armed forces, including the BSF and the CRPF. The exam is for the recruitment of CAPF Assistant Commandants (Group A). Successful candidates will be assigned to the Border Security Force (BSF), the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), or the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
This year this recruitment drive is being held to fill 253 vacancies, of which 66 are for the BSF, 29 for the CRPF, 62 for the CISF, 14 for the ITBP, and 82 for the SSB. The UPSC CAPF 2022 written examination is scheduled to be held on August 7th, 2022.

Application Fees and Process:
Candidates (except female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from fee payment) must pay a fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) by remitting the money in any State Bank of India branch or by using a Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card / UPI Payment or Internet Banking of any bank.

On the home page, under the What's New tab, choose the Exam Notification: CAPF AC 2022 link.
You will be taken to another website UPSC Online. From the drop-down menu, choose New Registration.
Complete the registration form with all of your information.
The application form is divided into two sections: Part I, where you fill out all of the fine prints, and Part II, where you pay the fee.
Once the application form is completed and payment is made, the CAPF exam appliance process is complete.
