Earlier the Commission declared the result of the main examination on February 9, 2023, where 1071 candidates were deemed successful for the interview. The interview was conducted by the Commission from February 20, 2023, to March 21, 2023, but 23 candidates were absent.

The examination had 30 types of posts available, including Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Block Development Officer, District Panchayat Raj Officer, Senior Spokesperson DIET, District Social Welfare Officer, District Commandant Home Guards, Treasury Officer/Accounts Officer, Executive Officer Category-1/Assistant Municipal Commissioner, Superintendent Jail, District Commandant Home Guards, Deputy Registrar, Naib Tehsildar, and others.

There were a total of 383 vacancies available for all the posts, out of which only 10 vacancies for 3 posts were selected based on the written test alone. The remaining 27 posts were selected based on both the written test and interview, totaling 373 vacancies. Out of the 383 vacancies, only 364 candidates were declared successful. Unfortunately, 01 Management Officer in the State Property Department, 16 Administrators in the State Property Department, and 02 Chemists in the Khadi and Village Industries Board were not filled due to a lack of suitable candidates. Moreover, 53 candidates out of the 364 were selected provisionally due to missing records, as marked by "Prov" in front of their names.

The Commission has posted the result on its office's notice board for public viewing, and the candidates can also check it on the official website of the UPPSC. The Commission will send the recommendations of the selected candidates to the government, and the marks obtained by the candidates and the post-wise/category-wise cut-off marks will be displayed on the Commission's website as soon as possible.
