The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2023 on May 1, 2023. The exam was held on April 16, 2023, and the shortlisted candidates have qualified for an interview by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy for the 151st Course and for the 113rd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The interviews are scheduled to begin on January 2, 2024.

However, it should be noted that the candidature of all shortlisted candidates is provisional. According to the admission conditions, candidates are required to register online at the Indian Army Recruiting website within two weeks of the announcement of the written results. Successful candidates will then be assigned selection centers and interview dates, which will be communicated via registered email. Any candidate who has previously registered on the site need not do so again. In the event of any query or login problems, an email should be sent to [email protected]

During the SSB interview, candidates must submit their original certificates of age and educational qualifications to the respective Service Selection Boards (SSBs), but should not send them to the Union Public Service Commission. The mark sheets of candidates will be posted on the Commission's website within 15 days of the publication of the final result (after the conclusion of SSB interviews) and will be available on the website for 30 days.
