UPUMS NURSING OFFICER RECRUITMENT 2023:

The Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS) has recently released the UPUMS Nursing Officer Exam notification 2023 on its website, announcing the recruitment of Nursing Officers. The university is inviting online applications for the Computer Based Test (CBT) - 2023, which aims to fill the Nursing Officer positions at Level-07 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 44900-142400).

Candidates who are interested and eligible for the positions can apply by visiting the official website. The application process will be open from 19.05.2023 to 08.06.2023, with the last submission accepted until 24:00 hrs. A total of 600 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive.

UPUMS NURSING OFFICER ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2023:

Age Limit:

The age limit for the Nursing Officer position is set between 18 and 40 years. The reference date for age calculation is 1st January 2023.

Educational Qualification:

I. Option A:

Candidates should have completed B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized Institute or University approved by the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council.

OR    

Candidates should have completed B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized Institute or University approved by the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council.

Additionally, candidates should be registered as Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.

OR

II. Option B:

• Candidates should have completed Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Institute/Board or Council recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

• Additionally, candidates should be registered as Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.

• Candidates should also possess a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds (registered with competent district medical authority) after acquiring the educational qualification.

Note: The two years of experience mentioned above is an essential criterion. To be considered valid, the experience should be acquired after completing the residency period of the course, declaration of results, and registration with the State/Indian Nursing Council.

• You will get a link to “Recruitment of 600 Nursing Officer 2023” on the homepage. 

• After clicking on the link, you will be redirected to the next screen where you have to click on “Click here to register a new user” and register yourself by filling out the details carefully. Skip this step, if you have already registered yourself.

• Now, login with your login credentials and upload the required documents in the needed size.

• Pay the application fee and submit the application form.

• Take a printout of the final submission for future reference.
