Read the following information carefully and answer the questions given below it.
BCCI has set following criteria for the selection of players in Indian Senior Cricket Team.
(1) He should be in 18-26 yrs of age group as on 01-10-2021.
(2) He should have represented his state for at least 2 years in Ranji Trophy.
(3) He should have scored 1000 runs or taken 25 wickets in a calendar year in Ranji Trophy.
(4) He should have been captaining his state for last 1 yr or be a good wicket-keeper.
However, if a candidate fulfils all the conditions except:
(i) (2) above, but has represented India in under-19 for 3 consecutive yrs, his case may be referred to the Secretary, BCCI.
