BPSC EXAMINATION OVERVIEW
Bihar Civil Service Examination is conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission(BPSC) for the recruitement of the General Administrative Department of Bihar state. Various posts come under the department such as Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Director, Superitendent of BIhar police, Commerce Tax Officer, Election Officer, Revenue Officer, Welfare Officer, etc.
BPSC HOW TO APPLY
Students can apply for these posts in online mode by visiting the Official Website of Bihar Public Service Commission. Here some steps are given that needs to be followed to apply for this exam:
First, visit the Official Website of BPSC through this Click Here
Now, under the important announcements section, click on the BPSC online application button.
Now, register yourself with required details.
After the registration you will receive your registration details on your registered email id.
Now, log in with your registration no and password.
Now, fill your required details in the application and proceed to complete the form.
Now, upload your documents such as ID Proof, Mark sheets, Caste Certificate, etc.
Now, pay your application fee online using available modes like net banking, upi, debit or credit card etc. for the further process.
After the submission of the fee, download your submitted application form and take print out as well for the future reference.

BPSC EXAMINATION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Educational Qualification
Candidates must be a Graduate or equivalent from any recognized university in the concerned discipline.
Age Limits
Candidates must be between the age of 20 to 37 years to apply for this examination. Relaxation in age for the reserved categories will be given as per the government rules.
Nationality
Candidates must be an Indian citizen or migrated here to be the permanent citizen of India.
(Note: Citizens of Bihar will be priorities for these posts).
BPSC EXAMINATION PATTERN
Exams will be conducted in three phases: Prelims and Mains followed by an Interview. Candidates must have to clear both the examinations and then they have to appear in the interview for the final selection.
PRELIMS EXAMINATION
Prelims examination will be conducted in offline mode and will be OMR based. The questions will be objective in nature and there is no negative marking for this examination.
The question paper to be asked will comprise 150 questions and two hours time will be allotted for the same.

BPSC ADMIT CARD
Candidates can download their Admit Cards from the official website of the commission before appearing in the examination. Some steps are being given here that will help you download your admit card:

Now, go to the important announcements and click on the BPSC Admit Card button.
Log in with your registered details such as registration ID or password.
Your Admit Card for the same will appear on the screen. Now you can download it and take a print out for further processing.
Note: Admit Card is an important document, without which you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. It contains your details such as:

BPSC SELECTION
Candidates first have to appear in the prelims examination. After being shortlisted in prelims exam, they will be eligible to appear in the mains examination. Those candidates who clear the mains examination, will get a call for the interview. The document verification process will be initiated if their name appears in the final results.
BPSC SALARY
Employees will receive a salary of Rs 4.3 to 4.5 LPA.( Average salary of the employees is 4 LPA for the same). Some other benefits will also be provided along with these remunerations like-
