IMPORTANT POINTS: BPSC AT A GLANCE

The Bihar Public Service Commission released an official notification for the BPSC 67th Combined Competitive Exam on 24th September 2021. A lots of student applied for this recruitment examination. The Exam of BPSC CCE is conducted every year by the Commission for the recruitment of the General Administrative Department of Bihar state. Various posts come under the department such as Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Director, Superintendent of Bihar police, Commerce Tax Officer, Election Officer, Revenue Officer, Welfare Officer, etc.

The 67th CCE was conducted on 8th May 2022 by the BPSC. Before the exam, around 10:30 am, the question paper was leaked on social media and as it matched the original question paper being conducted on that day. The paper leak was reported at the Veer Kunwar Singh College test centre of Aara and it sparked a commotion among hundreds of students.  According to the candidates, some candidates were permitted to bring their phones inside the exam centre. They received advance access to the question papers, and their exam was being conducted in a special room. Whereas, other examinees were given question papers late.

The exam will now be conducted in the last week of August 2022.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Nationality

Candidates should be an Indian citizen to apply for this post. 

Age Limit

To apply for this exam, candidates must be between the age of 20 and 37 years. According to government regulations, Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved group Candidates belonging from other states will not be entitled to any reservation and shall be treated as general category candidates.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a graduate degree in the relevant field or its equivalent from an accredited university.

EXAM PATTERN

Exam will be conducted in three phases: Prelims and Mains followed by an Interview. Candidates must have to clear both the written examinations and then they have to appear in the interview for the final selection. 

PRELIMS EXAMINATION

Prelims examination will be conducted in offline mode and will be OMR based. The questions will be objective in nature and there is no negative marking for this examination.

The question paper to be asked will comprise 150 questions and two hours time will be allotted for the same.
