Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission Rajaswa Lekhpal

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission, abbreviated as UPSSSC, issued a recruitment notice for the position of UP Lekhpal 2022 on 5th January 2022. The application link for the same was active from January 7th to January 28th, 2022, and candidates could modify their applications until February 4th, 2022.

Previously, the selection process for the same consisted of two stages: a written test and an interview. As the commission has revoked the stage of the interview, there will now be a single stage of selection: the Written Examination (for candidates who passed the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET), held on August 24, 2021) with a total of 100 questions.

How To Apply

Candidates can complete their online application by following the simple steps outlined below.

1. Go to UPSSSC's official website i.e. Click Here

2. Locate and click on the 'UP Lekhpal Apply Online' link

3. Begin filling out the application form with accurate information

4. Follow the instructions in the notification to upload a scanned copy of your recent photo and signature.

5. Once you've double-checked all of the information, click 'Submit.'

6. Pay the application fee mentioned as per your category.

7. For future reference, take a print out of your application form and fee receipt.

Application Fee

According to the most recent notification, candidates must only pay an online processing fee and no application fee at all.

Educational Qualification

Candidates who wish to apply for the UP Lekhpal Recruitment 2021, must have completed their intermediate or higher secondary education at a reputable university/institution. A qualification that is equivalent will also be accepted.

Age Limit

To apply for the post of UP Lekhpal 2022 the minimum and maximum age of the candidate should be:

Minimum: 18 Years
Maximum: 40 Years

The age relaxation for the reserved categories are as follows:

The UP Lekhpal written exam will be divided into following four sections:

Note:

➤ Each section carries 25 questions.

➤ The examination will be conducted in Objective Type.

➤ There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the UP Lekhpal exam.

➤ The total time duration of the Exam will be 120 minutes, i.e. 2 hours.

The PET 2021 result will be used to shortlist candidates for the mains exam.
UPSSSC PET 2021 for Lekhpal and other vacancies was held on August 24, 2021. Candidates who pass the PET exam will be considered eligible to take the Mains exam and those who will clear the Mains will be placed on the Merit List.
