Union Public Service Commission is a well-known and prestigious commission that annually conducts various examinations for the recruitment of various posts, such as EPFO, CAPF, IES, IFOS etc. The Commission released the official notification on 25th February 2023 for the post of EPFO EO/AO & APFC (Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer & Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner) in the Employees Provident Fund Organisation, Ministry of Labour.
Through this recruitment drive, 577 vacant seats for the posts of Enforcement Officer (EO), Accounts Officer (AO), and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) are going to be filled. UPSC EPFO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2023
A Candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
(b) Educational Qualification
Candidates must be having Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University.
To apply for the examination candidate’s age should be as follows:-
Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers
Candidates must not be older than 30 years old.
Assistant Public Provident Commissioner
Candidates must not be older than 35 years old.

Candidates must have two years of experience in their respective fields.
UPSC EPFO APPLICATION PROCESS 2023
Candidates have to apply online for the post of Employees Provident Fund Organisation. If you are facing any trouble in filling out this application form then you can follow the below-mentioned steps:
1. Firstly, visit the official website of UPSC.
2. On the homepage, fill in your required details to register yourself.
3. After registration, your login credentials will be sent to your registered email address or contact no.
4. Now, log in with your registered details to fill in the application form.
5. Now, upload your required documents in the needed format and size.
6. At last, pay your Application Fee through net banking.
Application fee for this post is INR 25/-. Those candidates who wish to apply for both posts have to pay Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only). Some special categories (SC/ST/ PH/Female candidates) don’t have to pay any fee.
Note:- Application fees should be paid only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.

The selection process will consist of 4 steps:-

Recruitment Test (RT) pattern for the post of Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers/Assistant Public Provident Commissioner are as follows:-
(i) The test will consist of objective questions with multiple-choice answers.
(ii) All questions will be graded equally.
(iii) The examination will last two hours.
(iv) The test will be administered bilingually i.e. in Hindi and English.
(v) There will be a negative marking for incorrect answers. Every incorrect answer will result in a one-third reduction in the marks assigned to that question. There will be no penalty for a question that has no answer marked.
