SSC RELEASED OPTION-CUM-PREFERENCE NOTICE FOR STENOGRAPHER GRADE C & D

SSC STENOGRAPHER GRADE C & D EXAMINATION 2022: SKILL TEST:

On February 27, 2023, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issued an official notice regarding the Stenographer Grade 'C' & 'D' Examination, 2022. According to the notice, the government’s decision to conduct recruitment in mission mode and to expedite the entire recruitment process, it has been decided that document verification will be conducted by indenting Ministries/Departments. A provision to this effect has been included in the Notice of Examination.

Thus, after the Staff Selection Commission declares the final result, the indenting Ministries/Departments will conduct the Document Verification. On 17.11.2022 and 18.11.2022, the commission held a computer-based examination for stenographer grades 'C' and 'D'. On January 9, 2023, the results of Paper I were announced. Candidates who qualified for Paper I are now shortlisted to take the Skill Test. Candidates must submit an Option-cum-Preference form for the position(s)/department(s) for which they wish to be considered.

The link for the same shall be provided on the login portal of the Staff Selection Commission for such candidates and the tab/link would be activated for a few days, the information about which would also be notified on the website of SSC (Headquarters) and its Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices. 

Note:Candidates who fail to exercise their Option-cum-Preference during the specified period will not be given another opportunity to submit their Option-cum-Preference and will not be considered for inclusion in the final selection.
