SSC STENOGRAPHER GROUP C & D FINAL RESULT DECLARED 2020

On October 17, 2022, the Staff Selection Commission announced the final results of the Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination, 2020. On September 23, 2022, the Commission declared the result of the Skill Test of Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination, 2020, in which 227 candidates were declared qualified to appear in Document Verification for the post of Stenographer Grade “C' and 1982 candidates were declared qualified to appear in Document Verification for the post of Stenographer Grade 'D'.

The qualified candidates were assigned Posts and Departments based on the ‘merit-cum-order of preference' of 'Posts/Departments' exercised by the candidates during Document Verification.

Taking into account the vacancy position, category-wise details of candidates qualified for appointment to the posts of Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' in various Ministries/Departments/Offices are as follows:

In cases where more than one candidate received equal aggregate marks in the Computer Based Examination (CBE), the tie was resolved by applying the following methods sequentially until the tie was resolved:

(a) Marks in Part-I (i.e. General Intelligence & Reasoning). 

(b) Marks in Part-II (i.e. General Awareness) 

(c) Date of birth, with an older candidate, placed higher. 

(d) Alphabetical order in which the names of the candidates appear 

The selected candidates' candidacy is provisional. Before making an offer of appointment to a candidate, the concerned Departments will thoroughly check his or her eligibility in all aspects.

If a candidate is finally selected and does not receive correspondence from the User Department concerned within one year of the result's announcement, the Commission or User Department must be notified immediately. Detailed marks of the selected and non-selected candidates will be uploaded on the Commission's website shortly.
