UPSC CDS 2023 RESULT OUT 2023:

On 4th May 2023, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the results for the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2023, which was held on 16th April 2023. Out of the candidates who took the written examination, 6518 candidates have qualified for the interview round by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. These candidates are being considered for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, Kerala, Air Force Academy in Hyderabad, and Officers Training Academy in Chennai.

It is important to note that the candidature of all the shortlisted candidates is provisional, and they are required to submit their original certificates to support their age, educational qualifications, and NCC (C) claimed by them to the appropriate authority. The IHQ of MoD (Army) / Dte Gen of Rtg (Rtg A) CDSE Entry is the destination for male candidates applying for IMA/SSC, whereas female candidates applying for SSC should submit their original certificates to IHQ of MoD (Navy DMPR (OI & R Section), Room No. 204, ‘C’ Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi-110011. Candidates who opted for Air Force as their first choice should submit their certificates to PO3 (A)/Air Headquarters ‘J’ Block, Room No. 17, Opp. Vayu Bhawan, Motilal Nehru Marg, New Delhi-110 106.

If the candidates fail to submit their original certificates by the specified dates, their candidature will be cancelled. It is crucial to note that the Union Public Service Commission should not receive the original certificates of the candidates.

For candidates who have chosen Army (IMA/OTA) as their first choice and have qualified in the written exam, it is mandatory to register themselves on the recruiting directorate website. This registration will enable them to receive call-up information for SSB interviews. Candidates who have already registered on the recruiting directorate website should not register again.

In case there is any change in the address, candidates are advised to promptly inform the Army Headquarters/Naval Headquarters/Air Headquarters as appropriate.

Candidates can also obtain information regarding their results by accessing the UPSC website 

For candidates who did not qualify, the marks sheet will be available on the Commission's website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result of OTA (after conducting SSB Interview) and will remain available on the website for a period of 30 days.
