BPSC- 66TH COMBINED COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION FINAL RESULT DECLARED

BIHAR PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION:

Bihar Public Service Commission has declared the final results of the 66th Combined Competitive Examination on 3rd August 2022. A total of 1838 candidates were declared successful in the Main (written) examination, the oral examination/interview was completed from 18.05.2022 to 22.06.2022, on 05.07.2022 and on 18.07.2022. A total of 1768 candidates appeared in the said oral test/interview and 70 were absent.

Due to various reasons, the results of Preliminary and Main (written) examinations of a total of 40 candidates, the results of Main (written) examinations of 07 candidates and the candidature of 07 candidates have been cancelled from among the candidates who appeared in the interview.

Combined merit list was prepared on the basis of the sum of the marks obtained in the Main (written) examination and the marks obtained in the interview of the remaining 1714 candidates who appeared in the interview. In the case of two or more candidates having the same aggregate marks in the combined merit list, the candidates securing more marks in the Main (written) examination, the candidates securing more marks in the optional (Elective) subject if the marks in the Main (written) are the same. In the case of equal marks of an optional subject, the candidate who is securing more marks according to the date of birth and the candidate whose name appears first in alphabetical order in Devanagari script, in the case of the same date of birth, are placed higher in the order of merit.
