SSC CGL 2022 FINAL VACANCY ANNOUNCED: FILL OPTION-CUM-PREFERENCE FORM

SSC CGLE VACANCY 2022 OUT:

On 26th April 2023, the Staff Selection Commission issued an official notice regarding the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2022 (CGLE-2022), stating that the final SSC CGL vacancy 2022 has been announced. The notice further mentioned that a total of 36012 vacancies are going to be filled in various departments.

The Tier-I exam of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE-2022) was conducted in the Computer Based Mode from 01.12.2022 to 13.12.2022, and the result was declared on 09.02.2023. Subsequently, the Tier-II exam was held from 02.03.2023 to 07.03.2023 in the Computer Based Mode.

Candidates who have appeared in the Tier-II examination need to submit their Option-cum-Preference(s) for post(s)/ department(s) for CGLE-2022 through their respective ‘CANDIDATE LOGIN’ on the website of SSC. The submission tab will be active from 27.04.2023 to 01.05.2023. It was emphasized that Option-cum-Preference(s) could be revised only during this period, and the last submitted preference will be considered final. Candidates who fail to exercise their Option-cum-Preference(s) during this period will not be given any further opportunity to do so. Their candidature will not be considered for the final merit list/final selection.

PwBD candidates were advised to give preference for only those posts suitable for their disabilities, and the allocation of posts will be made based on 'merit-cum-preference of posts' as per the Notice of Examination. It was also stated that the candidature of a PwBD candidate would be cancelled by the User Department concerned if he/she gets selected for a post that is not suitable for his/her disabilities.

The notice reiterated that candidates would not be given any further opportunity to exercise Option-cum-Preference beyond the dates. It was also mentioned that any grievance received in this regard would not be entertained by the Commission and would be summarily rejected.
