CENTRAL POLICE ORGANISATION OVERVIEW

The staff selection commission conducts national level examinations for various posts every year. SSC Central Police Organisation exam is held  for the recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF, Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub Inspector in CAPFs, and other Inspector and Sub Inspector posts in India.

CENTRAL POLICE ORGANISATION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.  

(note- candidates must possess a valid driving license for the post of SUB INSPECTOR IN DELHI POLICE only).

AGE 

Candidates must come under the age of 20 to 25 years. Relaxation in age will be given as per the government rules and the same is mentioned in the following table —

Nationality

The Candidate must be a citizen of India. Refugees of Tibetan origin can also apply. (In case an aspirant migrates here to be the permanent citizen of India, he can also apply).

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates can apply for this examination in online mode. In case you are facing any trouble during application process then you can follow these steps to resolve the problem:

  1. Visit  the official website of the Commission i.e. Click Here 

  2. Click on the Registration Link.

  3. Fill your required details for the registration process.

  4. Your ID and Password will be sent after the registration process on your registered email address.

  5. Login on the portal with your ID and Password.

  6. Fill your details which are needed to fill.

  7. Upload your documents in required format and size to avoid problems in the process.

  8. Submit your application fee as per your category.

  9. Take a print out of your application form for future reference.

ADMIT CARD OR HALL TICKET:

Before 10 or 15 days of the examination, your admit card will be updated on the official website of the authorities. Some steps are given below which will help you download your admit card. 

  1. Go to the official website i.e.  Click Here

  2. Now, click the exam admit card.

  3. Now, enter your registration details such as your registration ID or password.

  4. Your admit card appears on the screen.

  5. Now, download your admit card and take the printout of the same for the further process.

(Note: Admit card or hall ticket is the most important document for your examination in which all the required details such as your name, date of birth, photo, registration details, name of your centre, date of your examination and reporting time of your examination are mentioned.)

Examination consists of 3 stages. Both Prelims and Mains will be objective and 0.25 marks will lead to deduction from each wrong answer.

  • General Knowledge and General Awareness- Neighbouring Countries, History, Culture, Indian Constitution, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, etc.

  • Quantitative Aptitude- Height, Circles, Sphere, Hemisphere, Regular Polygon, Histogram, Distance, Frequency Polygon, Bar Diagram & Pie Chart.
