Probationary Officers/Management Trainees (PO/MT) are hired through the IBPS PO Test. The abbreviation for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officer is IBPS PO. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
There are three parameters such as Nationality, Age and Education Qualifications which define the eligibility of a candidate for this recruitment.
Nationality
A candidate must be either -
(i) A Subject of Nepal or
(ii) A Subject of Bhutan or
(iii) A Citizen of India or
(iv) A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmaar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India
Age:
Candidates must be between 20 to 30 years of age and the age relaxation in upper age limit for the reserved categories as follows:

Educational Qualification:
Any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government, or a degree of graduation in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India.
On the day of registration, the candidate must have a valid mark sheet or degree certificate proving that they have graduated, and they must also provide their graduation % when registering online.

Selection will be based on three phases:-

2. Main Exam
3. Interview

The structure of the Examinations which will be conducted online are as follows:

c. Interview
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Main examination for CRP- PO/MT-XII will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from authorised IBPS website www.ibps.in.
