UPSC COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES OVERVIEW
Union Public Service Commission conducts various exams to recruit numerous posts such as IES ISS, CMS, IFOS, IES, CAPF etc. As UPSC is a highly reputed Commission and many candidates appear in these exams from all over India. So, these exams are a really hard nut to crack.
Every year, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) with the norms issued in the Gazette of India by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, to recruit medical graduates for various Central Government Organizations and Services.
If you are willing to appear in the examination of Combined Medical Services, you must go through this notification. As the official notification for the year 2022 is not yet released by the commission, we are providing you with 2021 details.

UPSC COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES APPLICATION
How To Apply
Candidates can apply online for the post of Combined Medical Services in two parts. In the first part candidates will have to register themselves by entering their details while in the second part candidates will have to select the mode of online payment, selection of exam centre before submitting the form finally.
If you are facing any trouble in filling out this application form then you can follow the below-mentioned steps:
1. Candidates are required to visit the official website of the Commission, i.e. Click Here
2. Click on the notification section and look for: ‘Online application for various examinations of UPSC’.
3: Click on the ‘Part-I Registration’ link and ender all the details required after reading all the instructions and clicking on ‘Yes’.
4. Click on ‘Save & Continue’ to make the “Payment”.
5. Selected the ‘Exam Center’ and click on ‘Continue’.
6. Upload the scanned copy of ‘Photo’, ‘Signature’ & ‘Photo id Card’ in the mentioned resolution and click on ‘Submit’.
7. By doing so, your Registration ID will be generated, which is sent to the candidate’s email ID as well as on the registered number.
8. Click on the ‘Part-II Registration’ link and enter the following details:

Date of Birth
Captcha code from the image shown on the screen
9. Now click on the ‘Submit’ button to view the application form.
10. Read all the details entered by you and if they are correct, click on ‘Confirm’
UPSC COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
(a) Nationality
Candidates must be an Indian citizens or Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan. Refugees of Tibetan origin can also apply for the same. Those who have migrated here to be permanent citizens of India can also apply for the above-mentioned posts.
(b) Age
Candidates must be between 32 to 35 years of age and relaxation in age according to the different categories are tabulated below along with categories:

Educational Qualification
A candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S Examination.
A Candidate who is educationally eligible but yet to complete his/her internship can apply for the same but an internship is compulsory for the joining.

(a) Written Examination
Examination consists of two papers of 250 marks each. Candidates have to finish the examination in 2 hours.
