UPSC ESE 2022 INTERVIEW SCHEDULE RELEASED

UPSC ESE PERSONALITY TEST 2022 SCHEDULED:

The Union Public Service Commission has released a notice on 19th September 2022 for the Personality Tests (Interviews) Schedule for those candidates who have cleared the written exam of Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2022. The Commission has decided to commence the Personality Tests (Interviews) from 07.10.2022 to 15.12.2022.

Soon, the candidates' e-summons letters for Personality Tests (Interviews) will be available on the Commission's websites at https://www.upsc.gov.in  and https://www.upsconline.in. There has been no request to change the date or time of the personality test (Interview) intimated to the candidates will ordinarily be entertained.

Considering the COVID-19 pandemic scenario at hand and past practice, the commission has decided to reimburse the LOWEST "to" and "fro" flight tickets for outstation applicants flying to interviews or PT Boards on any airline, provided that they meet the following requirements: - 

a) IMMEDIATELY AFTER DOWNLOADING THE INTERVIEW SCHEDULE/E-SUMMON LETTER, AIR TICKETS SHOULD BE BOOKED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING AUTHORIZED TRAVEL AGENT ONLY, AT THE LOWEST AVAILABLE FARE OF ECONOMY CLASS:

(1) M/s Balmer Lawrie & Co. (2) IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) (3) M/s Ashoka Travels & Tours

b) The addresses provided by the applicants in their Detailed Application Forms will be used to determine the closest airport.

c) If the candidates complete their travel by rail, regardless of class, in line with paragraph 132 of the Supplementary Rules, the second/sleeper class train fare (Mail Express) shall be reimbursed.

d) Candidates must produce hard copies of their tickets (for the to-and-from trips) for train trips, prints of their tickets and boarding passes for subsequent trips, and prints of their tickets for return trips for air travel, along with the required T.A. claim form duly filled out in duplicate. (TA Claim forms can be found under the UPSC website's Forms and Download section.)

e) Tickets purchased through any method other than those authorised travel agents, namely IRCTC, Ashoka Travel & Tours, and Balmer Lawrie & Co., would not be eligible for airfare reimbursement.
