India and Israel have started a series of events to mark the 30 years of establishment of diplomatic relationship between the two countries .

•  Both the countries have released a logo which features Ashok Chakra of India and Star of David of Israel. These symbols are there on the flags of India and Israel respectively.

The logo was designed by Nikhil Kumar Rai of India.
India and Israel established diplomatic relations in 1992 .

Israel

इजराइल

• आधुनिक राज्य  इज़राइल  को यहूदियों के लिए एक देश के रूप में स्थापित किया गया था। यह मुस्लिम बहुल फिलिस्तीन  राज्य के विभाजन के बाद स्थापित किया गया था। इसने 14 मई 1948 को अपनी स्वतंत्रता की घोषणा की जिसका फिलिस्तीनियों और अरब राज्यों ने विरोध किया था।
• भारत ने 17 सितंबर 1950 को इजरायल को मान्यता दी लेकिन फिलिस्तीनियों के साथ उसके  विरोधी व्यवहार और फिलिस्तीन के लिए समर्थन के कारण भारत ने  इजरायल के साथ कोई राजनयिक संबंध स्थापित नहीं किया था।
• भारत एक स्वतंत्र फिलीस्तीनी राज्य की स्थापना का समर्थन करता है, जिसका इजरायल विरोध करता है।
