Here’s good news for those who want to set their career in the field of teaching as the Central Board of Secondary Education is soon going to release the notification for CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) 2022. According to the most recent information, the application link will be activated by the board in the first week of August 2022. Therefore, people who voluntarily wish to participate in the exam should read the notification from the previous year to know about the educational requirements, age restrictions, selection criteria, and other exam-related information.

Application Process

  • STEP 1: Log on to CTET's official website by clicking here

  • STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.

  • STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.

  • STEP 4: Upload Scanned Images of the latest Photograph and Signature

  • STEP 5: Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or Debit/Credit Card and Net Banking.

  • STEP 6: Print the Confirmation page for record and future reference. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education administers the CTET, a national eligibility test (CBSE). The CTET exam is often held twice a year to determine a candidate's suitability for appointment as a teacher for Classes 1 to 8 at Central Government Schools like KVS, NVS, etc. The CBSE will use a computer-based test (CBT) to conduct the CTET 2022 exam online. The exam will be conducted in a number of shifts for Papers 1 and 2. Candidates should take CTET Paper 1 if they want to teach classes 1–5 (Primary Teachers), and CTET Paper 2 if they want to teach classes 6–8. (Elementary Teachers). If candidates want to teach Classes 1–8, they must pass both tests.
