‘Ironman’ and IPS officer Krishna Prakash achieved another milestone, by becoming the first person to swim from the Gateway of India (located at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg in South Mumbai) to the famed Elephanta Caves (located at the Elephanta Island in Mumbai Harbour).

This task was completed by Krishna Prakash, posted as Inspector General of Police in the VIP Security Department in Mumbai, as an adventurous sea swimming expedition on 27 March.
He covered 16.20 kilometers within five hours, and 26 minutes.
The expedition was dedicated to the “Drowning Prevention Awareness” campaign.
He had earlier completed the gruelling Ironman and Ultraman triathlon competitions.
