Kamran Akmal decided to retire after being made a part of the national selection committee by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Akmal made his Test match debut against Zimbabwe in November 2002 and he also made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in November 2002.

In Test matches, he has 2648 runs at an average of 30.79, including six centuries and 12 half-centuries.
He has scored 3236 runs in ODIs at an average of 26.1 including five centuries and 10 half-centuries.

The12th edition of the competition has been organized in Ladakh, Leh.
The championship was organized by the Ice Hockey Association of India (IHAI).
The ITBP team won the title for the third consecutive time by defeating Ladakh Scouts in the final with a score of 1-0.

About one thousand 500 athletes from all over the country will participate in these games.
Snowshoe race, ice skating, ice hockey, skiing, Nordic ski, snowboarding, ski mountaineering and ice stock are the main attractions during the 5-day mega event.

Reid, who was appointed India's coach in April 2019, led the team to a historic bronze medal win at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
After taking over as the head coach of the Indian men's hockey team in 2019, Graham Reid went on to coach the team to a historic bronze medal win at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
After this, under his leadership, the Indian men's hockey team was successful in winning the silver medal in the Commonwealth Games 2022 held in Birmingham and India finished third in the FIH Pro League 2021-22.
In addition to Reid, analytical coach Greg Clark and scientific advisor Mitchell David Pemberton also tendered their resignations.
