China Successfully Launches Jielong-3 Carrier Rocket from Sea

On 24th September 2024, China launched the Jielong-3 (Smart Dragon-3) carrier rocket from a sea platform near Haiyang, Shandong Province.

The mission placed eight satellites into planned orbit. The offshore launch was conducted by the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center.
This launch marked China's 44th launch in 2024. It was the 4th flight mission for the Smart Dragon-3 (SD-3) carrier rocket series.
