  • Guyana and Barbados have announced that they will confer theirtop awards on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

About the awards:

  • Guyana will confer its highest national award, 'The Order of Excellence' on PM Modi, while Barbados will honour him with the prestigious'Honorary Order of Freedom of Barbados'.
  • Dominica had earlier announced its highest National Award,"Dominica Award of Honour."
  • The two latest awards take PM Modi’s tally of international honours to 19.
