India pulls out of Asian Under-22 boxing championship

The Boxing Federation of India has decided to pull out of the ASBC Asian Under-22 championships for men and women, scheduled to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from January 20-30, 2022.
- This decision is due to the global surge in COVID19 cases.
- Boxers born in 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 are eligible to compete in the event that is being held for the first time in the continent.
