India tops the medal table at the World Shooting Championships

India topped the medal table at the recently concluded ISSF (International Shooting Sports Federation) Rifle/Pistol world cup in Cairo, Egypt .
The event was held from 28 February to 8 March 2022.
India won a total of 7 medals:4 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals and 1 Bronze medals.
Norway came second with a total of 6 medals: 3 Gold medals, 1 Silver medals and 2 Bronze medals .

ISSF World Cup
The International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) organizes four world cups in a calendar year for rifle/pistol events .
In 2022 the venue of the World cups in chronological order are as follows: Jakarta (Indonesia), Cairo (Egypt), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and Baku (Azerbaijan).
