Sumit Antil and Bhagyashri Jadhav will be the flagbearers for India at the opening ceremony of the Paris Paralympics.

The Paralympic Games are scheduled to take place from 28th August to 8th September 2024.
Indian Contingent
India will be sending its largest-ever contingent to the Paralympics with 84 athletes.
This is an increase from the 54 athletes who represented India at the Tokyo Paralympics.
Achievements of the Flagbearers
Sumit Antil: Current Paralympic champion in the men’s Javelin Throw F64 category.
Bhagyashri Jadhav:
Silver medalist in shot put F34 at the 2022 Asian Para Games.
Finished seventh in the Tokyo Paralympics.
Won silver in Women’s Shot Put F34 at the Para-Athletics World Championships in May this year.
