Sivashankari, based in Chennai, authored 36 novels, 48 mini-novels, 150 stories, 15 travelogues, 7 volumes of essays, 4 research papers, and two biographies in Tamil.

Dr. C. Narayana Reddy's new book 'Samanvitham', a collection of poems, to be launched on the same day as part of his birthday tradition.
