Indian weightlifters Jeremy Lalrinnunga and Achinta Sheuli clinched gold medals in their respective categories at the 2021 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships in Uzbekistan on Friday.
India’s Teenage weightlifting Jeremy Lalrinnunga, 19, won Gold in Men’s 67kg Category. Sheuli claimed the top place on the podium with an effort of 316kg (143 + 173) in the men's 73kg category.

5. Padma Shri awardee Nanda Kishore Prusty passes away
