PR Sreejesh:
He belongs to a farming family from Kizhakkambalam village in Ernakulam district of Kerala. He made his debut for India at the 2006 South Asian Games in Sri Lanka and has participated in three Summer Olympics.
He played a key role in India's gold medal win at the 2014 Asian Games and bronze medal at the 2015 FIH Hockey World League Final.
Recognized for his achievements, he received the Arjuna Award in 2015 and the Padma Shri in 2017.
