India, Madagascar sign MoU to explore co-production of TV programmes

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation and collaboration in Broadcasting between Prasar Bharati and ORTM (Office de la Radio et de la Television) was signed in Madagascar’s capital Antananarivo on 10 May.

  • The MoU was signed by India’s Ambassador to Madagascar Abhay Kumar and ORTM Director-General BELALAHY Jean Yves.

  • Under the agreement, Madagascar National Television will broadcast programmes from internal productions by India's Prasar Bharati. 

  • The objective of the MoU is to explore the exchange of programmes, co-production of programs and training/exchange of personnel.
