Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat inaugurated the Geo Smart India 2022 Summit in Hyderabad on 15 November, 2022.

• He said that the country is facing a severe water crisis which is becoming an important issue and the government has taken several steps to solve the issue.

• The three-day summit was attended by around 2500 delegates from around 500 government, private, organisations working on geospatial technology and so on.
