Meghalaya govt launches project to promote music, support budding artists

The music project was launched to promote music and support emerging artists in the northeastern state of Meghalaya.
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma unveiled the project while presenting the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' to state music icon Lou Mazow.
This project will help at the grassroots level to provide support to the artists for out-of-state programs.
This program has been started to encourage and provide a platform to the musicians in the state and link it with tourism.
