Prime Minister Katrin Jakobsdottir to form the new government in Iceland

• Katrin Jakobsdottir has been chosen by the coalition parties in Iceland to be their leader and the Prime Minister of Iceland.
• In the recently held election held in September 2021, her  Left Green Movement party won only 8 seats in the 63 members Iceland Parliament. However, she was chosen by the coalition partners Conservative Independence party and Progressive Party  to lead the government 
• She became the Prime minister of Iceland in 2017for the first time .
