Real Madrid football club of Spain won the 38th edition of the Spanish Super Cup by beating Athletic Bilbao 2-0 on 16 January 2022  at the King Fahd Stadium,Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia.

• Man of the match- Luka Modric (Real Madrid)   
• The Spanish Super cup is played between four teams who are the winners and runners up  in the Copa del Rey and La Liga tournament of Spain .
• Under an agreement with Saudi Arabia , the Super cup will be held in Saudi Arabia till 2029.
