• He was primarily recognized for his comedic roles in Malayalam cinema, but also acted in Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English films, appearing in over 700 films throughout his career.
• He has won several awards, including the Kerala State Film Award and the Kerala Film Critics Award, and is regarded as one of the finest comedians in Malayalam cinema.
