Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated the Amrita Patel Public Health Center in Anand, Gujarat.

The Amrita Patel Center for Public Health was established in honor of Dr. Amrita Patel, a pioneer in both the dairy industry and public health.
Dr. Patel has held key positions in the dairy industry, including as the first woman executive of Amul and chairperson of NDDB.
