Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched a creative comic book titled "Let's Move Forward" during a function held at Kaushal Bhawan in New Delhi, Delhi.
An Overview of the News
The primary objective of the book "Let's Move Forward" is to enhance the health and overall well-being of school-going children across India.
The comic book was jointly created by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) New Delhi, under the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.
"Let's Move Forward" is available in both printed and digital versions, and can be accessed in multiple languages including Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil and Telugu.
The comic book has been designed as an interactive and educational resource, intended to complement the implementation of the School Health and Wellness Program (SHWP) under the Ayushman Bharat Abhiyan.
An electronic version of the comic book will also be made accessible through the Ministry of Education (MOE), NCERT, UNESCO and DIKSHA websites.
