Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli etched his name in history by becoming the first Indian cricketer to score 12,000 runs in the T20 format.

Kohli achieved the remarkable feat during the opening match of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Kohli holds many records in the IPL, including the most runs with 7,284 runs in 239 matches and 230 innings.
His IPL batting average is 37.24, with a strike rate of 130.02.
