Union Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off the Fit India Freedom Moto Ride at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi on 9 September.

IMPORTANT FACTS -

• It is a pan India bike ride by 75 bikers at 75 important places.

• The event is historic as bikers will cover a distance of over 18,000 kms.

• Ten women from India will also participate in the event along with four international bike riders from different professions.

• Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Nisith Pramanik, Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi and Members of Parliament were present at the event.
